Tom grew up in south Florida and moved to Lynchburg in 1977 to attend Liberty University. He began his real estate career in 1980 working mostly with investment properties during the high interest rate years of the early 80's. In 1985, with the help of investment partners, Tom developed his first neighborhood, Oak Ridge, and began his first foray in residential construction. This was one of the fastest selling neighborhoods ever in Central Virginia and helped Tom realize the tremendous potential for residential development in the Forest area. Over the next 17 years, Tom developed more than 20 different development projects. In 1989, after observing that retail development had been relatively stagnant for a decade in Central Virginia, Tom turned his attention to commercial development and sales. Over the next few years, Tom located and sold sites for major retail players, including Walmart and Sam's Club, Kroger, Lowes, Office Max, and McDonalds in locations from Danville to Farmville. His commercial work also included several multi-player assemblages as well as multi-million dollar land sales involving noted shopping center developers like the Midland Group, Barry E. Dotson Company, and JDN Realty Corp. In 1994, Tom opened his own sales and development company, DeWitt Real Estate. In 1998, DeWitt Real Estate added an auction company and in 1999, added a construction company, DeWitt-Tomlin Builders, Inc. As of 2006, the DeWitt Real Estate office is the only Central Virginia company with full-time in-house managers dedicated to development, construction, and auctions. In addition, it comprises a staff of sales agents, most of them consistent multi-million dollar producers. While overseeing all of the DeWitt Real Estate operations, Tom annually produces personal sales of nearly $10 million. Tom's goal is "to do it all" which means being involved in every kind of project and type of real estate imaginable before he retires. Tom is a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and actively supports local sports and recreational programs, such as Liberty University, Forest Youth Athletic Association, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Tom resides with his wife, Susan, at their century-old Readmoor Estate home in New London.  Tom and Susan have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.

Neil has been in the Real Estate business since 1981 and has received numerous awards including the 1994 Diamond Award, which is the highest award given, the 1998 Level Two Award, the 1999 Realtor Achievement Award and in 2000 and 2001, he surpassed his personal income goals by being Top Producer three consecutive years in a row.  From 1985 to 1989, Neil worked as Regional Land Manager for Weichert New Homes & Land Division where he sold large tracts of land to developers, builders and investors.  

Neil's goal is to make the next five years of his real estate career his finest!

He moved to Lynchburg in 1992 and has specialized in selling land, farms, horse farms, trailer parks, small shopping centers, new homes and resale homes. Neil enjoys gardening, horseback riding, hiking, traveling, cooking Italian foods, and making home-made wine.

I was born and raised in Lynchburg and proud to call this city and surrounding counties home for 50+ years.  I attended LCA, Brookville and CVCC before becoming a full time employee in the building trade.

In 1999, I became a full-time Realtor, which allowed me to spend more time with my son, Bruce and my husband Mark because of the flexible hours.

I obtained my contractors license in 2001 and started a small residential building company, Precise Properties, Inc. which my husband Mark has operated since 2003.

Both industries have truly been a blessing.  I strive to provide a great buying, selling and building experience.  I believe "It doesn't have to be stressful when the customer has the guidance needed in the process".

Originally a native of Lynchburg but have also resided in Richmond, Va., and throughout the state of Georgia returning to Lynchburg in 1998. These transient years have given me a first hand understanding of what new residents need to settle into a our community as well as preparing those to leave Lynchburg if relocating to a new city.
